What we collect
- Account details: email address, username, display name.
- Ratings, notes, tags, and photos you add.
- Optional goals, diet, and allergy preferences. These are private to you.
- Friend and follow connections.
- For restaurant claims: your role, the business name, and documents you upload.
- Approximate location, only when you tap “Near me”. It is rounded to about 1 km and not stored.
How we use it
- To show menus, predict which dishes you'll like, and compare tastes with friends.
- To verify restaurant ownership.
- To improve nutrition estimates, using aggregated and de-identified ratings.
We do not sell your personal information.
Who can see your ratings
Each rating is visible to friends, everyone, or only you, as you choose. Goals, diet, and allergies are never visible to other users.
Service providers
We use Supabase for our database and authentication, Vercel for hosting, and Anthropic to estimate nutrition from menu text. Menu text, not your personal data, is sent for estimates.
Your choices
You can download all of your data or delete your account at any time from Settings. Deleting your account removes your profile, ratings, and connections.
